Focus on late Middle Ages / beginning of modern times
A major theme of the Tin Figure Cabinet is the Peasants´ Wars in our region. In the years from 1524 to 1525 Southwest Germany saw the uprising of the “common man” against his secular and clerical masters. Several dioramas illustrate the revolts of the Peasants´ War in Freiburg and its outskirts.
